This DeLonghi espresso maker may not be a beautiful high end quality espresso machine, but it creates good, strong espresso with crema. The features are user friendly and the automatic tamping is just as good as you do it yourself. At a price below $800, I’d say this is the best value super automatic espresso maker you can get.

Semi Automatic DeLonghi Espresso Maker
DeLonghi EC155
This is an amazingly popular DeLonghi espresso maker, if only for the price alone. This little fella is perfect for those who have little space in the kitchen, not much cash to spare, and an insatiable craving for lovely espressos all the time.
The compact size and squarish shape make it easy for this DeLonghi espresso machine to find a place in any home. The espresso is wonderful, which is the most important thing to note especially when you are getting a cheap espresso machine that doesn’t have much to offer.
Personally I have never heard of any other espresso machine under $100 that works as well as this!

If you don’t really like squarish things with neatly aligned edges, go for this retro style DeLonghi espresso maker. It is very similar to the EC155, except for its looks. I’ve noticed that the price usually runs a few dollars above its sibling, which is acceptable if you really love the design.
This pump driven espresso maker similarly makes good espressos, and takes up very little space on the countertop. For such a small espresso maker, only shot glasses could be used, but considering the price hardly anyone could complain. If you like tall drinks, simply transfer the espresso to a larger mug.

A DeLonghi coffee machine may not look like an awesome professional machine or a tourist attraction in your kitchen, but give the espresso a try before you pass it up for some cheap plastic gadget.
